Kitambaa is a hypothetical East African textile company, co-partnered with Dior to infuse the essence of East African-inspired designs and patterns into the world of men's fashion.
In crafting the letter mark, I aimed to make it bold and masculine. The 'K' is a visual representation of the threads that weave and define Kitambaa's textile artistry. It's a subtle nod to the rich tradition of weaving and intricate patterns East African designs are known for.
I chose the phrase 'Redefining Tradition One Thread at a Time' as a way to describe the textile history of Kitambaa and how it is being reinvented through its partnership with Dior.
